WESTFIELD, Ind. (Aug. 5, 2025) — Listening to growers has enabled LG Seeds to deliver consistent agronomic performance and strong yield potential. The corn seed products set to debut in 2026 boast a 9.5-bushel-per-acre yield increase in precommercial research testing compared to LG Seeds’ commercial lineup and competitive checks.
“The gains are a testament to our focus on unique germplasm and the fully integrated team, a continual feedback loop from the grower and a focus on agronomic consistency,” says Dustin Bowling, LG Seeds brand product manager. “As a 100% seed-focused provider, our proven genetics deliver consistent results across a wide range of environments.”
“We’re focused on providing products growers can count on to perform for multiple seasons,” Bowling explains. “We’re looking for root strength, stalk strength, and high tolerance scores to disease and pest threats. We deliver products that can handle a variety of soil types and weather patterns and still provide consistent results.”
Corn seed tackles growers’ challenges
Growers will have 16 new LG Seeds corn products to consider in 2026, each of which has proven itself consistent in agronomics and yield potential. It will also offer new trait options on six proven corn seed products and will introduce one new VT4PRO product for growers who need an additional tool for corn rootworm control.
The 2026 class also fortifies growers’ defenses against southern rust and tar spot. Following are just a few of the new corn products worth a closer look:
- LG40C07 is a highly adaptable product with impressive stalk and root scores. It’s able to perform under high-yield management as well as stressful environments, demonstrating yield stability that’s a hallmark to LG Seeds. The 90-day relative maturity (RM) product features trait options in VT Double PRO® and SmartStax®.
- LG47C12 is a new 97-day RM product in the Double PRO® RIB Complete® trait option for 2026. Known for its excellent green snap tolerance and long, flexing ears, it stands out in the field. The versatile choice performs well on dryland and irrigated acres, and it responds especially well to high-yield practices like foliar fungicide applications.
- LG55C40 features top-end corn yield potential and reliability across multiple environments. With the Trecepta® trait package, it has very good tolerance to Goss’s wilt and high pH soils. The 105-day RM product produces a girthy semi-determinant ear with excellent grain quality.
- LG58C16 provides the performance and look of an industry-leading product with showstopping ears, deep kernels and stellar test weight. This 108-day RM product is available as a conventional option as well as the VT Double PRO® trait package.
- LG63C32 is the new, high-yielding counterpart to LG64C43, which was released the year prior. With a 113-day RM, broad-acre agronomics and the Trecepta trait package, it’s a must-have product for 2026. It excels across yield environments and can move south well.
2026 soybean lineup focuses on standability, SCN control
Growers seeking higher soybean yields can benefit from 18 new LG Seeds soybean products launching in 2026.
One way to capture more yield is with better control of soybean cyst nematode (SCN). An increasing number of growers are aware of the threat SCN poses and the need to rotate sources of resistance. With its rollout of more Peking-based SCN resistance on both Enlist E3® and XtendFlex® soybeans, LG Seeds is giving growers more firepower in their war against SCN.
Standability is another focus with the 2026 soybean lineup. “High-yielding soybeans are only as good as the base you can put that yield on,” Bowling points out. “A solid base is especially important as growers plant soybeans earlier and build that pod load early.” A few standouts from the diverse 2026 class include:
- LGS00905XF (0.09 RM) pairs top-end yield potential with very good iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC), brown stem rot and white mold tolerance, allowing these earlier-maturity soybean seeds to be planted in many northern geographies. These soybeans have great adaptability to high- and low-performing soils.
- LGS1670E3 (1.6 RM) combines agronomics with superior yield potential. This high-performing product can handle stressful situations without sacrificing standability. It features a great combination of IDC and phytophthora field tolerance.
- LGS3077XF (3.0 RM) is a proven yielder featuring Peking SCN resistance. It excels on well-drained, productive soils and displays good standability under multiple yield conditions.
- LGS3629E3 (3.6 RM) offers a balanced agronomic package. Whether you’re looking for good tolerance to phytophthora, sudden death syndrome (SDS) and/or charcoal rot tolerance, this soybean has you covered.
- LGS3960XF (3.9 RM) produces a medium-statured plant with excellent standability under high-yield conditions. It’s a salt excluder variety with excellent stress tolerance across multiple growing conditions. It also stands up well to frogeye leaf spot and SDS.
