
GRAND ISLAND, NE – Today, U.S. Senator Pete Ricketts (R-NE) hosted his second Federal Issues Forum at the Nebraska State Fair. The event included a legislative update from Senator Ricketts and two panel discussions on federal issues facing Nebraskans. Guests for this year’s forum included EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin and Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-WY).
“I’m grateful for Administrator Zeldin, Majority Whip Barrasso, and many Nebraskans who attended this year’s Federal Issues Forum,” Ricketts said. “Working with the Trump Administration, Senate Republicans are protecting families, securing the border, and fostering a stronger economy. I’ll continue fighting to deliver results and get our country back on track.”
The event took place in the Raising Nebraska Building and included two panels:
- “Reining In Environmental Red Tape: A Conversation on Improving the EPA” with Senator Pete Ricketts and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin.
- “Senate Solutions to Get America Back on Track” with Senator Pete Ricketts and Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso (R-WY).
