
The latest USDA Crop Progress report shows planting moving ahead of average, with 11% of the corn crop and 12% of soybeans now in the ground. Spring wheat planting is also underway at 12% complete. However, winter wheat conditions continue to decline, with just 30% rated good to excellent, as drought remains a concern across key growing areas.
